Personal Note

My wife's name is Jamie and we have a 12 year old daughter named Rachel.

I started in the Manufactured housing industry in 1986 in Texas working for Security Pacific Housing a bank out of California that specialized in financing mobile homes. I started out in the Collections and Remarketing Department handling past due accounts and repossessions. I was transferred to Jacksonville, Florida in 1988 to help open a new branch office as a Credit Manager.

After 7 years on the financial side of the business I decided it was time to venture on to the retail sales side of the business so I opened my first sales center back in 1992 in Orange Park, Florida. I eventually sold out the business and moved back to Texas in 1995.

I opened the sales center that my wife Jamie and I currently own in 1996 for Accent Homes which eventually sold out to Champion Homes. Then in 2005 we purchased the sales center from Champion Homes and renamed it 1st Choice Home Centers and became an independent manufactured home dealer representing numerous quality home manufacturers. .

I created 1st Choice Home Centers because I saw the huge disadvantage a larger corporation and manufacturer faced from a price standpoint due to the huge overhead that comes from so many layers of management. I can be much more price competitive since I am smaller and don't have the huge burden of an "ivory tower" corporation and all the costs associated with it.

So by being independent with little overhead I can get my customer's the best price possible. And, any problems get resolved right here locally by me.
